Something as simple as having a meal becomes a difficult task when you can’t see. This is why Orbis Singapore is organising a mass Blindfold Luncheon to raise awareness of the challenges our friends with visual impairment face.

Registration is required.

Thanks for your interest. Due to overwhelming response, we have closed the signup form. See you next year!

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the Orbis Mass Blindfold Luncheon will take place on Saturday, 13 October 2018.

Dialogue in the Dark - Singapore staff with visual impairment will greet, guide and serve you as you discover what it is like to eat without your sight.

There will be demonstrators from Guide Dogs Singapore and talks on myopia and road safety by Essilor. Participants get to chat with masseurs from the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped and have their eyes screened by optometry students of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

This event seeks to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with visual impairment in their daily lives, and share how we can help make their lives better.

Participation is free. Gather your family, friends and lunch kakis, and click here to reserve your seats!

Please contact Elaine Woon, Director of Development, if you have any questions about the event.
