JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Development, the incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of the individual donor segment strategies and approved communication projects with the goal of expanding Orbis’s donor base in Singapore.

REPORTS TO: Director of Development

SUPERVISES: Corporate and individual volunteers, external vendors

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, manage and implement approved campaigns to acquire donations from individuals, handle individual donor transactions and maintain good donor stewardship.
  • Manage the Orbis Singapore website, social media, intranet, e-newsletter and eDM campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to develop corporate supporters and major donors coming through individual donor campaigns; work with the team to steward and convert event attendees and employees of corporate supporters to individual donors.
  • Assist in corporate fundraising activities to expand Orbis corporate partnerships in Singapore; prepare donor reports and coordinate donor visits and volunteering activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the office.
  • Work with the team to maximize use of donor database and ensure that all records are up to date and ensure compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act.
  • Assist in production of marketing collaterals.
  • Research for market information and keep abreast of non-profit fundraising practices.
  • Assist the team in their respective segments.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • University graduate or above, preferably in marketing, business administration or related disciplines.
  • At least 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience in business development, marketing and/or communications.
  • Proven experience in organizing events and campaigns is an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Native proficiency in written and spoken English. Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others.
  • Open-minded, creative and willing to work under pressure.
  • Good team player and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to develop a career with an international non-profit organization.
